Apostille - Hague Convention

Both Romania and the Republic of Korea apply the provisions of the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents. This means that all official documents must have affixed the Hague Apostille in order to be recognised by the other country. The Korean Apostille office from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can be found at this address: click.

In Romania, the institutions affixing the Hague Apostille, depending on the type of document, are the judicial courts and prefect offices. More information can be found at www.just.ro or www.mae.gov.ro
